A wife of nearly 50 years, Susan is the mother of seven amazing children who have given her 27 beautiful grandchildren. Born in Mesa, Arizona, she has lived in Utah, Connecticut, and the Navajo Nation, where she and her husband served as addiction recovery missionaries. She calls her mission a highlight of her life. For most of the last 44 years, she has lived in Chico, in the beautiful northern end of California's Sacramento Valley. Her books are usually set in or near her California home or the Navajo Nation. The second novel in her Seasons of Destiny series, Sunny's Summer, is set in the aftermath of the deadly Camp Fire which devastated Paradise, whose victims all lived in her county and stake.
