I grew up in Mesa, AZ, where my husband and I are now raising our three minions. I started Haelo's story while in college at BYU-Hawai'i, then finished it when I should have been writing papers for my completely unrelated grad degree. I'm a writer, a composer, a musician, and a community activist. 

My dream job, besides writing novels from a hammock in the forest, would be as a movie score composer. Total Hans Zimmer and Martin Phipps fan girl.
