Stripes

To watch young mind discover their story is pure joy. So when I was invited to speak with the third graders of my local school, I never dreamed it would go this far.  After receiving a bunch of covers this one was among them. I am not a children's writer or so I thought.  I had a story in mind and after my presentation asked the children about this zebra.  They wrote their own versions, which are located in the author's notes. Where fear paralyzed me at one time with writing I wanted to show them they can help make a difference so the profits from this book go back to the school.
